Here is an excerpt from one of those stock "how to draw" books that are so detrimental when misused by beginning artists. I find them somewhat useful, however, when trying to immitate a specific other artist's style -- which I'm sure is all they're really intended for in the first place.
I found an old photo of Rachel dressed as a fairy (for Halloween?) and thought it would make a nice source for a manga-style drawing.
