The Pig Roast


I rushed from the final performance of Prairie to the Peace Corps Pig Roast. Almost all the food was gone, but I was in time for the drunken recitation of where everyone served. Plus words of wisdom. Mine were: "Stay in school, don't do drugs." I sold $40 worth of quilt raffle tickets, too.

When I talked to Billy Aronson last night, he told me that his fifteen-year-old daughter says nothing that is not ironic. So I decided to make some air quotes on sticks for her. I mailed them today, and made another set for myself.
