The KOVR studio piano is a Mason & Hamlin grand which is unique for its "centripital tensioners." (Don't ask.) I was telling Courtney about these and looking underneath when I noticed all the gum that people had stuck under there. That became the highlight of the piece. Peter, the cameraman, fetched another light to illuminate the underside of the piano. He practiced moving the boom camera underneath the piano and when the time came got the shot perfectly.
