Elaine Berman is an old friend that I used to do Gilbert & Sullivan shows with. One of her students in the show sings "Broadway Baby" and I agreed to change the key on the song. In return, Elaine gave me a bottle of Asti Spumante and this nice note written on this page from a Far Side calendar.
