On the left is Panos, who Liz (assistant conductor/Key 1) met while working on a cruise ship. He is playing a recital at Larrick Piano tonight. On Friday, he sat in the pit and witnessed: 1. Singer and orchestra come out of a vamp at different time, getting wildly out of synch; 2. Balloon popping on conductor's stand during quiet love scene.
Panos is a real concert pianist and played a little of Brahm's Concerto No.1 on Liz's keyboard before the show. Gorgeous!
