Today I tuned for Jason Mraz at Freeborn Hall on the UC Davis campus. I tuned the piano at noon and then came back at 6 pm for a touch-up. I had to double-park in the loading area behind the stage. While I was tuning the producer asked if he could move my car because someone had to get out. I gave him my keys and then a minute later wondered: had he ever driven a Prius before? Sure enough, when I finished the tuning and came out to my car he still hadn't figured out how to start it.
