I knew about this film already because Sunny Knable, the son of Rob Knable (head of music department at Sacramento City College) scored it. But when I went to tune my customer Cheryl Raney's piano today, it turns out that her husband wrote and directed it. How much did it cost, I asked. Forty thousand dollars, she said: her husband's whole inheritance from his mother. He was a drama teacher at a high school and used a lot of his former students in the film. Now they are shopping it at film festivals. Posted by Picasa
